A recent report has revealed that jobs and businesses in Scotland are still being impacted by the downturn.
The retail sector is suffering as the number of consumers visiting shops in Scotland has decreased more dramtically than other parts of the UK. The British Retail Consortium outlined that in the last three months there was a decline of shoppers by 8.5%. That’s down when compared to last year’s figures.
Salaries being offered to permanent staff across Scotland have also fallen recently although the Scottish government has said they are trying to boost consumer and job confidence.
