Low Income Families Cut Back on Trips

Family Action conducted a survey of over 2,000 people and found that 54% of them planned to go away less this year due to financial restrictions.

The rising costs of travel, food and entry fees has made many families re-think their summer holiday plans.

The figures follow a report last week that claimed a family with two children need to earn a minimum of £37,000 a year to ‘get by’.
