Whether this is your first ever job or you are simply trying to change careers, you should try and gain work experience in your chosen field. This will help you to determine whether it’s the right role for you. Contact local companies and attend networking events. Although internships may be unpaid, they can lead to full-time work and can be really beneficial when planning a career jump.
