Incentive Offered to Companies Who Employ Ex-Prisoners
By Jobulo In Employment News StoriesThe government has announced plans to award companies a fee – every time they employ an ex-prisoner.
If a company employs an ex-prisoner and keeps them on for more than two years they will be awarded £5,600.
The plans are thought to be in a bid to decrease the amount of people on jobseekers and to make ex-offenders more employable.
It’s also thought the new scheme will help to reduce crime across the UK.
